Jessie Bowen is the Executive Director and owner of USA Workshops, Karate International of Durham, Inc., The American Martial Arts Association Sport Karate League & Hall of Fame, LLC located in Durham North Carolina.  The companies specializes in martial arts self defense - fitness training, child development, visualization training and  martial arts cross training. He is a Silva Method certified lecturer and has been a student of the Silva Method training for over 25 years. He was introduced to the Silva Method by his martial arts instructor who was a Silva graduate to help him with his martial arts tournament competition. Today Mr. Bowen is a  martial arts Grandmaster and holds a 9^th degree black belt, producing over 300 student to the rank of black belt, won over 2000 trophies and 2 world titles in martial arts competition. He has spent over 25 years cross- training world-class athletes with a blend of martial arts and mental training techniques. This personalized training program is titled MartialSports specializing in football, basketball, swimming, golf, weight training, track and field events and bowling. His programs have been derived from a wide range of sources to bring together a winning combination for successful athlete training.

Mr. Bowen was a sports consultant-trainer for the University of North Carolina football program for 10 years with UNC winning bowl games 9 out of the 10 years.

In the 2000 – 2001 basketball season he was a sports consultant-trainer for the NCAA National Champions Duke University basketball team.

 Along with the other certifications he is a USA Bowling Coach, YABA Bowling Coach, a member of the Professional Bowles Association (PBA) and Bowling Coach for Duke University. In 2003 he developed a visualization enhancement training program that the CIAA Champion North Carolina Central University Women’s Bowling Team utilized to win the title. This program, Zen Bowling, is now available on CD for bowlers all over the world.

In 2001 Mr. Bowen developed a time management, visualization-training program for study enhancement for the NC School of Science and Math, in Durham North Carolina titled Mega Study.
